RSA Animate - Changing Education Paradigms

Sir Ken Robinson on the two reasons why every country on earth at the moment is reforming public education. How do we educate our children to take their place in the economies of the 21st century? (Given that we can't anticipate what the economy will look like at the end of next week!) And how do we give our young people the opportunity to develop their cultural identity? Sir Ken then goes on to explain that the additional problem to this is, they're trying to meet the future by doing what they did in the past!

"You are never too young to lead. You are never too young to do what it is you actually believe in. We keep saying that the future belongs to  the young; it only belongs to you if you take it. From what I have seen,

you young people are going to change the world; and you have to be that change that you want to see."

- Kofi Annan, Former Secretary General of The United Nations
